Peninsula Engineering Hires Christopher Scott, AICP and Adds New Service
NAPLES, FL, — September 17, 2021– Peninsula Engineering, a Southwest Florida full-service land development consulting firm, announces Christopher Scott, AICP recently joined the company in the new role of Planning Manager. Chris is responsible for managing planning and zoning matters for Peninsula Engineering clients, including rezoning applications, variance requests, comprehensive plan amendments, due diligence studies and other development entitlements. With the addition of Chris to the team, Peninsula Engineering is now able to assist clients with a wide variety of planning and zoning applications in-house, to go along with our Engineering, Landscape Architecture, Environmental and Construction services.

Chris has prior experience in both the Public and Private Sectors and recently spent nine years as Planning Manager, Development Review Division at the Collier County Growth Management Department. He is certified by the American Institute of Certified Planners (AICP) and Leadership in Energy Efficiency & Environmental Design, Accredited Professional (LEED-AP). “We are excited to have Chris join our firm and look forward to the opportunity to provide planning and zoning services to our clients,” states John English, vice president of Engineering at Peninsula Engineering.
