Ave Maria Utility Company, LLLP.
With sustainability and conservation as core principles of community development, the Ave Maria Utility Company, LLLP. (AMUC) operates a state of the art water and wastewater treatment system. The 2.5 million gallons per day water treatment plant uses nano-filtration technology to treat water drawn from five wells: three in the Lower Tamiami Aquifer and two in the Sandstone formation, ensuring exceptional water quality and reliability.
The zero discharge wastewater facility utilizes an eco-friendly activated sludge process, advanced filtration, and high-level disinfection, with 2.0 million gallons per day capacity to treat wastewater for beneficial reuse in irrigation throughout the community. These innovative systems reflect Ave Maria’s commitment to sustainability, efficiency, and environmental stewardship.
